Do NOT Be Yourself: The #1 Variable to ALL Success

We often hear the classic narratives programmed into us.

Narratives like “Be who you are” & “Accept yourself”

All these narratives do one DETRIMENTAL thing: Trap us in a false sense of self-identity. This self-identity is false & constructed based on our paradigms, belief systems, thoughts, actions & habits.

If you told Jeff Bezos as he was flipping burgers at McDonalds to just “be himself” and he believed you, he would not be worth $200B like he is today.

If you told Colonel Sanders to just be himself, he would’ve died broke & never lived up to his potential.

If you told Michael Jordan to just be himself, when he was constantly called a loser & told he’d never amount to much… he wouldn’t be Michael Jordan.

I am not here to debate the ethics or morality of these types of people, but we can all agree that they are all massively successful in their chosen professions.

In order to have created this success, they all had to do something that society told them was impossible: NOT accept themselves in their mediocrity.

We are consistently programmed with this garbage daily & it keeps us fat, broke, miserable & far from our potential.

If you want to be good at ANYTHING… you must rearrange & rebuild the self-image into what you desire it to be.

As Sam Ovens, multi-millionaire & founder of Consulting.com says: “If you don’t have what you want in life, it’s because you haven’t become the person who deserves the things & experiences you desire.”

We like to put our goals & dreams in this unattainable place, far outside our reach due to how we perceive ourselves & what we deem ourselves worthy of based on who we believe we are now.

This only is to our detriment.

Every & I mean EVERY successful person, billionaires & multi-millionaires alike, all have applied this principle either consciously or unconsciously.

They have created a new self-image through various tools & techniques like: affirmations/mantras, visualization, dream building (vision Boards, goals), self-hypnosis & perhaps most importantly… practice!

You have, up until this point, practiced being mediocre.

You have practiced being broke, being fat/unfit, being unhealthy, not achieving your dreams, being afraid of having big goals.

If you have spent years upon years practicing this limiting sense of self-image, you must practice creating a greater sense of self-image if you want to make a change in your life.

So the question is: HOW?

Well I laid out some of the most common techniques above: self-hypnosis, affirmations/mantras, vision boards, visualization, dream building & practice.

You can use any combination of the above to achieve a new sense of self-image, but it really starts with understanding who you think you are now & then creating a CRYSTAL CLEAR vision for who you desire to be in the future.

Then working tirelessly to become that person as soon as possible.

Act how you would act if you were the person you desire to become.

Speak how you would speak if you were the person you desire to become.

Think how you would think if you were the person you desire to become.

Do the habits & actions that you would do if you were already the person you desire to become.

It may sound “woo-woo” to you now, but I can tell you from personal experience & witnessing the testimonials of thousands of successful people…

It works!

So I urge you to try it out for yourself.

Speak to yourself as if you were already successful.

Think, behave, act, dress & embody the characteristics of your new sense of self-image & you will not only feel better quite quickly, but you will become this new person.

It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen quickly if you make a habit of it.

I am curious to hear about your journey with self-image.

Are you in a place where you are creating a better, more positive sense of self-image for yourself?
